I am Alex Picha, an ambitious and hungry award-winning creative digital producer with extensive experience from the most creative advertising agencies and networks. I am thrilled that you have found me and would like to share a brief overview of my background and accomplishments.

With over 25 years of experience in creative digital communication, strategy, and technical innovation, I have a strong background in web design, coding, and digital/social media writing. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, music, art, cooking, technology, beer, and travel. I have a poor sense of direction but enjoys getting lost.

As a seasoned digital producer with over 25 years of experience in pioneering digital communication, strategy, and technical innovation, I thrive on exploring new frontiers in the ever-changing internet. I enjoy collaborating with both wise and less experienced individuals to expand my thinking and perspectives.

With a background as a former COO, Art Director, and Web Designer, as well as my experience as a Code Monkey and Digital/Social Media Copywriter, I bring a wealth of knowledge and creativity to every project. I am a strong communicator and able to explain technical concepts to clients and co-workers.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music and curating playlists, exploring contemporary art, cooking, caring for plants, testing new technology, and traveling with friends and my kids.

Fun fact: I used to play the trumpet skillfully and despite my poor sense of local direction, I find joy in getting lost.

Since 2011 I am an Executive Academy Member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS/The Webby Awards). IADAS is an intellectually diverse organization that includes over 750 Executive Academy members such as Francis Ford Coppola, Martha Stewart, co-founder of Twitter Biz Stone, Internet inventor and Google Chief Internet Evangelist Vinton Cerf, "Simpsons" creator Matt Groening, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, Chief Evangelist at Canva Guy Kawasaki, Huffington Post Founder Arianna Huffington and Director at Harvard University’s Berkman Center for Internet & Society Susan P. Also, If you have a project that’s “slightly” has gone down the drain, the deadline is past due or you just have the feeling “what the frack do I do now” – just ping me on any channel – I’ll help out if I can, even if being Mr Wolf isn't what I usually do. But I will always try to help a new friend out.

But… what is it you actually do, Alex?

I get this question a lot; since the role as a Producer can mean different things for various kinds of people and at various kinds of agencies.

My work could often be described as a hands on producer in the digital space from the tiniest of projects to the most complex and innovative projects, regardless if it’s a campaign, an app, a site, a creative innovative banner project, exploring new technology or anything in between. I have been ultimately responsible for the final execution of creative digital products in VR- & AR-projects, websites, Social media campaigns, a problem solver how to connect and finding solutions for APIs in new ways to break unknown ground on the internet.

With that said;

I’m a +25 years experienced digital expert (aka just in the middle of my career)  who excels in scoping, planning, and shaping project teams.

I have excellent communication skills, I’m helpful, friendly and have a high level of emotional intelligence and I am able to empathize with various stakeholder groups to consolidate different motives and perspectives into a project or process.

I contribute to the creative process, ensuring that projects are innovative, futuristic, inclusive, talkative and secure.

I act as a production bridge between designers, UX, and developers, drawing from my background as an Art Director and Developer.

I am a skilled project leader who educates and advises clients and co-workers, from project inception to launch and beyond.

I have a holistic view of projects and am a strategic and creative digital advisor.

I am a natural problem solver with excellent collaboration, organization, and documentation skills, and I possess expert knowledge of creative production and project best practices.

Within this, I’m keeping up to date with different targets groups behaviour changes on internet, social media, or for example how AI now is part of everyone’s working tools, I’m always trying out new technology to be able to work smarter, not harder.
